F&B / Brand identity

Mumbai.
At full volume.

A street-food identity that behaves like the food tastes: immediate, noisy and impossible to politely ignore.

The actual problem.

The problem with “fun food branding” is that it often becomes childish. Kadak needed energy without looking like a cartoon franchise.

Build the personality around heat, banter and Mumbai confidence.

The chilli

A character that can be calm, hot, smug or chaotic without turning into a mascot gimmick.

Typography

Big, compressed, high-volume type does the shouting before the copy arrives.

Mumbai → Kozhikode

The geographic move becomes part of the story rather than something the identity needs to hide.

Social language

The system was designed to generate jokes, signs, posts and food moments from the same core voice.

Not every brand needs restraint.

Kadak works because the loudness is controlled. Repetition, framing and a limited palette keep the energy from becoming visual noise.

Volume is a design decision. Chaos is what happens when nobody decides.
